AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy

-- Owners Train Their Pups to be Stars --

PDTC is now offering the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy training program geared towards puppies and their owners. The AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy Program rewards responsible owners who take the time to train and socialize their new puppies. The program is the puppy level of the AKC's well-known Canine Good Citizen progra. "S.T.A.R." stands for Socialization, Training, Activity and a Responsible owner, all of the things a puppy needs to have a good life.

Classes will include valuable training tips for puppy owners - such as how to housetrain - and lessons on practical skills for puppies - such as coming when called, sit, stay, down.walk on a leash, etc. Puppies will have the opportunity to socialize with one another, which is an important part of puppy development. This program is open to all puppies who can begin training as soon as they have received 2 sets of puppy vaccines, up to 6 months old.

Please email the club at AKC STAR Puppy to request information as to the day and time these classes are available.
